Responsibilities: This position is responsible for developing contracts and reimbursement sources while acting as a client liaison for all contract relations and negotiations. Duties: Manages all contract negotiations with reimbursement sources, including Medicare, Medicaid, private payers, managed care networks and HMOs. Identify potential for revenue improvement in contractual relationships, recommend and implement changes through contract amendments and renewal negotiations. Maintain current knowledge of DME industry trends as they relate to contracted services, to help company anticipate changes and minimize financial impact. Works to maintain front-line relationships with reimbursement sources. Requirements: BA/BS in business administration, accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 7-9 years health insurance provider contracting experience, with both private and government payers. Extensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and guidelines. Strong analysis skills to assess financial impact of new contracting relationships (Excel modeling). Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills, as well as experience developing and maintaining collaborative internal and external business relationships..
