Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this position is to provide group, individual and family therapy for adjudicated adolescent in a secure residential treatment facility. Facilitate cognitive behavioral/reality therapy based behavioral management system and provide crisis intervention for delinquent adolescent population. Assist in training and mentoring of treatment and custody staff. Conduct psychological evaluations and consult with multidisciplinary treatment team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Considerable knowledge in behaviorally based treatment of conduct disordered and offending adolescent populations, intervention techniques for antisocial and destructive behavior patterns, general knowledge of writing psychological assessments and the ability to work with adolescents in crisis as well as professional and paraprofessional staff. School psychology background is preferred. .
