Title: Director Sales
Location: San Diego, CA and Houston, TX
Type: Full Time
Compensation: DOE

Primary responsibilities include leading the sales order pipeline process to daily, weekly and monthly goals, reporting, planning, trending, developing process improvements, and training sales teams on order quality.

The successful candidate will be a demonstrated high achiever with strong organization and analytical skills; goal oriented and must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial dynamic and relatively unstructured environment. The individual should have demonstrated initiative, a positive, team-oriented outlook, must be very effective working across functional boundaries, possess prior experience regularly interacting with Sales Management and Operational management teams, and possess a high energy level.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist sales management in the sales team development including assisting reps and team leads with sales support, share best practices preparing order forms to be submitted, apply process leadership skills to organize branch processes & procedures to streamline work flow through the pipeline and maximize order accuracy.

• Responsible for managing branch sales pipeline of new orders sold but service not yet activated.
• Conduct a quality check on all orders to ensure paperwork is complete and order quality satisfactory to schedule customer service activation.
• Collaborate with Sales mgt, sales reps and Market Operations teams to correct paperwork and/or re-set customer expectations required to move the order forward to schedule a service activation.
• Proactively resolve reasons the customer delays a scheduled service activation and use problem solving and sales closing skills at the Sales Management, sales rep, and customer level, in order to clear account for install.
• Contact customers to assess and resolve technical and non-technical reasons for delaying service activation.
• Lead branch training and promotion efforts to improve the percentage of pipeline accounts which install
• Participate in branch and corporate initiatives to adopt best practices for pipeline management
• Institute pipeline management practices to exceed branch and corporate objectives
• Manage the customer promotion & addendum process (monthly allocation and reconciliation) and ensure compliance with corporate / Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines.
• Conduct regular analysis of data and reports to determine trends, provide reports and improvement recommendations to the Sales mgt and corp mgt teams.
