Responsibilities and Requirements: This position will primarily be responsible for providing leadership and developing proactive approaches to safety in order to fulfill Stepan’s responsible care mission. They would be responsible for designing and implementing programs in order to achieve incident free performance, which includes: developing, prioritizing, and implementing projects/programs to protect people, processes, products, and the environment from exposures to injury, risk, or economic loss. In addition, the incumbent will be developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving a Behavior Based Safety Program. The EH&S Leader will also be responsible for incident investigations, corrective action completion, and championing for OSHA VPP. This position is responsible for regulatory compliance i.e. PPE, Respirator Program, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Scheduling and completion of regulatory training. In addition, the incumbent will provide regulatory oversight on environmental issues as needed or required. CB~Required ExperienceBS in related field. 3-5 years of experiance in an EH&S Department of a manufacturing facility. Ability to interface with both salary and hourly personnel.LocationMaywood, NJ
