A sound working knowledge and understanding of chemical processes, products, markets related to the Paper & Packaging Industry. In addition, the necessary technical expertise to introduce, sells, service and assists our customers in the use of BASF products.2. Bachelor of Science Degree in related fields and / or Chemical Engineering or equivalent. BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.3. A minimum of 5 years industry experience and prior sales / customer related experience is preferred.4. Excellent written oral and communication skills. Adept at building relationships with multiple internal functions and with all levels at customers.5. Incumbent must have strong initiative, be results oriented, and process excellent influencing / impact skills.6. Computer literate with high skill level in Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.) This position is within a job family and will be filled at a level applicable to the incumbent's qualifications.
