Responsibilities and Requirements: BS degree in broadcasting journalism or equivalent work experience. Must have extensive editing experience, with excellent communication and phone skills. Previous producing experience is a bonus, but not mandatory. Duties: This person will be responsible for producing the sports segments for HLN on Saturdays & Sundays, as well as provide vacation relief for the Monday thru Friday producer. They'll collaborate with the sports anchor and HLN news team on content and focus on the best way to present the stories. They will also provide coverage on our assignment desk which includes making calls to our affiliates for newsgathering purposes, handling video requests, and working with Satellites to bring in live games, press conferences, and affiliate material. . and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers.
