Responsibilities: Must have BOILER experience. Performs chemical engineering work in the analysis, planning and control of the manufacturing process for the production of pulp and paper products to consumer market. Provide engineering expertise to optimize process systems, implement cost reduction opportunities, assist operations and maintenance in troubleshooting existing process systems to minimize or eliminate safety, quality, or production problems. The position will initially support the tissue machines operations area and then rotate to other areas within the mill as needs arise. Education: BS Chemical Engineering or Pulp & Paper Science with 5+ years of experience in bath tissue, napkin and towel manufacturing environment. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years experience in a pulp and paper manufacturing environment, specifically in the tissue and converting operations area. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities: Must possess excellent analytical abilities, troubleshooting techniques, strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of performing process engineering tasks commensurate with experience. Competencies: Sense of Urgency, Customer Focus, Team Work, Communicating, Accountability.
