This is a 6 months contract opportunity at our customer site, a leading company in Bellevue, WA.

Job Description:

Core job responsibilities:
• Must be a strong team player and committed to the success of the group.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and challenges associated with running a managed lab environment.
• Commitment to improving the quality standards within organization by analyzing lab operations and recommending work-flow improvements for the entire team’s benefit.
• Assist in development and implementation of processes and automation, to proactively manage all servers for the service.
• Identify staffing requirements to meet new deployment and operational run needs, e.g., manage vendor and virtual teams.
• Apply foundational understandings of ITIL and Microsoft Operational Framework (MOF) or similar methodologies in the management the day-to-day IT operations requests, ensuring service levels are met and service requests are completed with no-reworks.
• Ensure the overall security of the personnel and individual lab.
• Develop key understanding of local lab environment and project level work to provide capacity planning and metrics tracking.

Candidates must have hands on experience supporting enterprise class servers/network gear and managing large projects in a Lab or production datacenter
