Major physical changes have taken place within the hospital, including construction of new surgical suites and the creation of an ambulatory services area for same day surgery and a new endoscomy center. In addition, the hospital offers a modern family-centered maternity care program, a multi-discipline Cancer Program and a new Urgent Care Center.We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Clinical Manager.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmacy Education. BS or Pharm.D degree. (preferred)State licensure as a Pharmacist - West VirgininaCompletion of three years of hospital pharmacy experience or an ASHP - approved pharmacy residency or fellowship program. Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. EXPERIENCE:Implements, directs, plans and manages the overall clinical activities of the Pharmacy department to effectively provide quality pharmaceutical services as requested under the Director. Performs activities related to drug acquisitions; assumes responsibility for continuing education for pharmacists and other members of the hospital staff. Participates in the maintenance of the pharmacy computer system. Coordinates the medication use evaluation program. Performs other duties of a pharmacist when needed. Assists in development of Drug Formulary and evaluation of new drugs. assists in P&T committee activites. Acts as a resource to Physicians, Pharmacy staff, and nursing staff as needed; asists in evaluation of pharmacy staff.
