Start Date: ImmediateJob Location: San Diego, CAWork Hours: Job Description::Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing proejcts and serves as liaison between Project Management and planning, projec team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and manages schedules/prepares reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to program operational requirements. Prepare and submit reports, briefings, and schedules to meet program objectives/goals. Develops mechanisms for monitoring proejct progress and required approvals and keep management informed. Candidate must possess knowledge of project management fundamentals, theories, and concepts. Tasks include but are not limited to: conducting status reviews of project/product/performance baselines, managing schedules, and preparation of performance award reports and briefings; analyze/initiate project/product/performance operational issues and action items and develop/document/manage resolution plans. Initiate requirements planning and execution for the conduct of internal team project progress reviews to support action and decision making by Program Managers, Business Managers, Integrated Product Team Leaders, and customers. Plan requirements for utilization of shared services, facility and IT support, and lead/manage actions between multiple management levels for response preparation to support closure of key issues and events, etc. Experience Requirements/Skills:Position requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. NOTE: An extensive working knowledge of MS Office Suite of tools, especially MS Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
