The Compliance Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:* Provides compliance expertise and advice to all Corporate Health entities* Performs compliance reviews utilizing discretion, latitude and independent judgment* Develops compliance educational programs, policies and procedures* Documents findings and makes written recommendations for corrective action needed to maintain compliance* Designs and conducts education/training for employees regarding billing, coding and other compliance matters* Maintains extensive knowledge and experience pertaining to regulatory compliance and coding and billing of services to Federal healthcare programs* Conduct training presentations in formal and informal settingsQualifications:* RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC with minimum 3 years coding experience* Expert knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding and UB-04 and/or CMS-1500 claim billing* Previous compliance experience strongly preferred* Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance issues* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
