(Candidates from the North West region will be given priority) Major Duties and Responsibilities1. Responsible for financial reporting; consolidating, reporting and analyzing consolidated financial information. This includes setting and communicating deadlines, defining responsibilities, as well as handling problems as they arise monthlY. Analyze and review the monthly consolidation to ensure process was completed properly. Ensure quarterly reporting package is completed accurately, consistently and on time. 2. Review the quarterly financial analysis. Review the quarterly balance sheet analysis prepared by group finance. Review the quarterly cash flow statement. Understand significant variances on all financial statements. Report any unusual items to senior management and follow-up as necessary. Other analysis as requested.3. Act as contact for external auditors. Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and annual audits.4. Ensure corporate accounting compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, including closing process, consolidations and financial reporting. ARequirementsA Bachelors degree in Accounting is required.A CPA or Masters is highly preferred6 to 11 years of accounting experience is required, or equivalent industry experience.Previous manufacturing or consumer products experience is a plus.This is a confidential search and all candidates will be treated as such.Only those that have the qualifications will be considered.
