Senior Mechanical Engineering opportunity is available with a high technology company located in Madison, WI. This privately held, 50 year old company designs, develops and manufacturers equipment, machines, components and systems for global companies in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. This senior level design position incorporates a wide variety of design opportunities involving high precision, close tolerance multi-part components and systems involving: Small machine design, sheet metal, motor selection, pulleys, belts, electronic enclosures, sheet metal, mechanisms, pumps, plastics, gearing, motion control and other mechanical components for small to medium X-Y-Z machines and systems that incorporate electronics. Previous experience with DFMA , Solidworks and project responsibilities is a plus. The ability to interface with manufacturing, quality and test engineering is necessary. This person will ideally have a big picture approach to design engineering and methodologies with at least 10 years experience and a four mechanical engineering degree. Located in the progressive city of Madison, WI this company is within 90 miles of Chicago, Milwaukee, Rockford.
