Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and publish plans for the Data Centers and IT Rooms, including floor plans showing equipment layout, power distribution plans and cabinet content records using preferred Data Centre management tools (e.g. Aperture Vista); --Respond to customer requests for service including deployment, relocation and decommission of equipment; --Respond to incidents that impact service in the Data Centre; --Interface with or lead development groups in the implementation of new project initiatives, including facilities upgrades and server installation and decommissioning; --Interface with service suppliers for the installation of distributed power, computer racks, networks, cabling and plant; --Implement high levels of data centre security, cleanliness and safety and other best practices; --Act as receiver of new equipment and manage deployment from loading dock to raised floor; I--Install and connect new services to power, disk and network; --Maintain records of installations. .
