Responsibilities: Under the direction of a Senior Accounting Officer, Supervisor, the incumbent will be required to analyze and interpret various financial data reports in the Cash Management Unit. Responsibilities include: preparing drug rebate reconciliations against various departmental systems such as; CMS 64 and Core to resolve discrepancies among the reconciliations, prepare fund reconciliations, prepare year-end statements, research cash receipt related issues, prepare adjustments to Cal Stars and CMS 64 system, process unclaimed property inquiry and other duties as required. The incumbent must have thorough knowledge of basic Accounting Principles and be able to apply knowledge in making sound analytical decisions. Incumbent must have the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and communicate effectively with various staff contacts throughout the department. .
