Responsibilities: Performs analysis on in-process and finished products and R&D samples to ensure specifications are met. Makes accept/reject decision on incoming raw materials and pre-shipment samples based on pre-established criteria. Places defective product on hold in accordance with procedures. Resolves and reports defect issues. Interacts with other departments to communicate testing results. Position Responsibilities Perform all quality assurance checks including but not limited to inspecting the lines during pre-operational time periods, taking sauce samples for microbial testing, monitoring component temperatures including HACCP temperatures and checks, sampling components, and recording accurate information on all required forms. Performing product\component hold duties in accordance with company policy and other duties as assigned. Expected Ownership of the Environmental sampling and daily swabbing programs. Position Qualifications Previous microbial knowledge and computer experience or the ability to learn quickly. Ability to work 2nd shift Minimal mechanical aptitude. Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Ability to interpret graphs. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. .
