Responsibilities: Prospect, qualify and recommend personal lines agency appointments. 2. Identify, qualify, negotiate and secure book transfers within existing agency plant and within new appointment prospects. 3. Develop and enhance relationships with key agency personnel, including principals and placers to ensure a consistent flow of profitable new business. 4. Provide input on personal lines issues for the branch agency review process including segmentation recommendations. Drive the review process as regards personal lines only agencies. 5. Develop and regularly monitor annual personal lines business plans including volume commitments and profitability requirements. 6. Direct agency management activities as regards personal lines including monitoring production, profitability and mix of business. In conjunction with PLU and Profit Center Executive devise and implement corrective action as required. 7. Monitor competitive position and rate level activity. Make appropriate recommendations to the COAP as part of the rate review process. 8. Seek out group sales opportunities and refer to Group Sales Coordinator. 9. Complete regular agency visits and include timely completion of itinerary and call reports to PL Marketing Exec., Profit Center Executive and PLU . Provide HNET and HIIS training and support to agency personnel. 11. Assist the Profit Center Executive and PL Marketing Exec. in the establishment and development of the branch strategic plan and annual premium projections and implement actions to carry out the plan. 12. Monitor market conditions, develop competitive intelligence, and make recommendations regarding new and/or existing products/programs. .
