Responsibilities: Planned Systems International, a Government Contractor, has an immediate opportunity available for a Logistic Engineer to support one of our Government customers in Falls Church, VA.Essential Functions & :The successful candidate will provide full hardware/software logistic engineering in support for the relocation of a major health care application systems development and test computer center environment. Initial systems integration will include AHLTA clinical applications. Support will specifically include logistic systems integration activities with significant emphasis on current environment documentation, system shutdown, and target environment startup and testing. Logistic integration with secure telecommunication facilities and components is required. Hands-on tracking of all software, interface, testing, and database environment migration will be required. Requirements: Requires a B.S. Logistics, Transportation and Supply Chain Management. An equivalent combination of education and experience might be considered if other requirements are met. Experience must include 3 years in Logistic Engineering including Must be able to analyze logistic applications and their integration with hardware components and communications systems. Must have good documentation skills. Must be flexible for changing priorities, be detail oriented, and able to work independently. Must also have good oral and written communication skills and exhibit excellent customer service skills. U.S. Citizenship is required as is successfully passing a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
