Responsibilities: The general purpose of the role is to identify, develop and implement aligned, strategic marketing activities for Xolair. This position reports to the Group Product Manager Xolair Marketing. Individuals in this position are expected to: - Develop tactical plan and manage budget - Implement and manage marketing activities that align with the overall brand strategy - Lead or participate in cross-functional, cross collaboration or other project teams - Manage multiple vendors and timelines - Deliver presentations to Senior Leadership - Contribute as an expert to team members directly in Franchise Marketing or outside The PM/SPM will be specifically accountable for the following activities: - Simplify product distribution/fulfillment - Address distribution opportunities Provide brand marketing integration with managed care (key account plans, Specialty Pharmacy support, etc.) - Creation of promotional messages and resources for field team - Customer focus & insights Requirements: Bachelors degree - MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred - Two or more years previous brand marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry - Previous pharmaceutical/biotech field sales or field sales management experience is preferred - Previous experience in Asthma or related therapeutic area is preferred - Prior market research/analysis/planning experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus - Prior managed care or distribution experience is preferred - Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals The qualified candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills: - The ability to lead/influence in a situation where you lack direct authority - The ability to work collaboratively, especially with cross-functional team members.
