Responsibilities and Requirements: Provide Quality Assurance appraisal, approval or disapproval of suppliers through a cross functional effort with Purchasing, Manufacturing and R&D Engineering based on Quality System and business requirements.2.Develops a supplier audit schedule and ensures audits are conducted on a scheduled basis.3.Completes audit reports based on audit findings on a timely basis in order to satisfy Quality System and ISO requirements4.Manages corrective actions related to audit findings, nonconforming product, or overall supplier performance and drives to effective resolution and timely closure.Evaluates and verifies effective implementation of Corrective Action in order to prevent reoccurrences.5.Maintains master files of supplier audits and correspondence with suppliers per Quality System Regulation, and ISO record retention requirements.6.Works cross functionally with Purchasing to track ongoing supplier quality performance and work with suppliers on quality issues.7.Participates in the qualification of suppliers and maintenance for various levels of approval, such as preferred, dock to stock, and certified suppliers.8.Interfaces with receiving inspection personnel to provide technical support with quality and measurement related items.
