This role will manage an existing compliance framework and expand it as necessary to accommodate future industry and regulatory requirements. This role blends traditional compliance expertise together with a practical understanding of how the business and its underlying technologies operate in order to manage an effective compliance framework that supports the successful execution of the security program. will Developing and evolving information security policy, standards, and baselines Translating regulatory requirements into effective controls Improving the compliance framework to optimize information security governance and reduce the impact on operational teams Onboarding new services, technologies, data centers, and regulations into the compliance framework Translating key internal, industry and regulatory obligations into appropriate administrative and technical controls Reviewing the operating effectiveness of current controls and developing a program of continual optimization Ensuring cross-team collaboration in all aspects of compliance with the overarching goal of improving trust of managed servicesExperience: of five (5) years of experience in an information security role Extensive information security program experience including the development and management of information security policy, standards and baselines, as well as security compliance activities Direct experience interpreting industry and regulatory requirements and authoring controls and supporting documents (e.g., standard operating procedures) Direct experience with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Experience in the technical interpretation and practical application of an information security program which supports compliance obligations History of successful cross-organizational efforts in broad and complex work engagements Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate decisions quickly Experience assessing and articulating risk to a variety of audiences and reviewing appropriateness of technical or administrative mitigations or outright exceptions.
