Responsibilities: Provides technical and professional support involving all area of VTC operations, applications and administration to include daily communications with the Installation Commander's StaffOperates and oversees the VTC network equipment to include control panel, audio phones, video monitors, personal computers, and graphics reproduction equipmentOperates the VTC facility to allow verbal and visual conferencesDevelops, coordinates and assists in the utilization and operation of IT equipment as either stand-alone equipment or connected to a network computerAssists in review of functional user justifications and requirements for new or additional IT capabilities in the form of hardware, software, and/or communication equipmentRecommends alternate solutions if the submitted justification does not fully support the requested functional capabilitiesPlans, organizes and distributes PC'sServes as an Alternate custodian include issue, receipt, custody, transfer, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material up to the level of Requisitions material for issue and maintains stockage levels for operational and contingency requirementsConducts required inventories, adjusts inventories on and completes destruction reports for material/equipment when destroyedMaintains all records and prepares reports for accountable material and ensures publications are current with all amendments.Requirements: Position requires knowledge of a variety of methods, techniques, materials, and equipment used in the design and operation of teleconferencing systemsIt also requires knowledge of video teleconference bridging techniques and possibilitiesPosition requires a Top Secret security clearance with SCI access Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsEqual Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
