Responsibilities: The SME/Department Trainer provides operational and technical subject matter expertise for department users of Radiology Epic applications.Acts as a liaison between Information Services project teams and user department staff in process re-design and future-state workflow associated with Epic implementation and optimization.Advocates for system changes which enhance departmental use of the system and add business value.Assists clinical staff /departmental staff in developing a detailed understanding of Epic applications at daily operational level.Trains department users in operation of Epic applications.The SME/Department Trainer functions as the departmental expert in operating the Epic applications.Individuals hired into this position will function as members of the Epic project team during the design, build & implementation phases within the assigned department.Upon completion of the implementation, individuals will work within assigned department as the trainer and continue to function as a subject matter expert.Requirements: Certification in Radiological Technology, issued by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.Epic Certifications as required by IS to support clinical department .
