Responsibilities: The Marienville area offers quiet country style living with a multitude of outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and plenty of trails for the ATV enthusiast. Our program, Abraxas I, is a residential drug and alcohol treatment/education and prevention program with clientele composed of male juvenile delinquents, ages 14-18. The Abraxas programs offer a safe, structured and positive environment for youth to change their lives and provide employees the necessary training and experience to advance their careers in the juvenile justice industry. Statement of Function: The Counselor provides a full range of counseling/case management services to delinquent/dependent youth. Requirements: High School Diploma from an accredited High School, plus 4 years of related experience, or; - Associates Degree from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of related experience- BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university.
