Responsibilities and Requirements: Strong ability to understand written communication Knowledge of computer and ability to use windows-based products. Typing skills Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good communication and telephone skills. Strong customer service skills 1-2 years of related clerical experience or healthcare experience. High School education or equivalent Knowledge of medical terminology; demonstrates successful completion of course. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred N/A To provide support to achieve the delivery of high quality care and customer satisfaction under the direct supervision of the nurse manager, practice leader, charge nurse or supervisor. The Unit Concierge works within the accepted service standards of the hospital and its mission and philosophy. The Unit Concierge works as a member of the patient care team and serves to facilitate unit operations through direct support activities to serve the patient and their family/visitors, the nursing/clinical staff, the physicians and the department/unit.
