CNC Machinist – multi axis milling, edm, lathe, swiss lathe

Fantastic opportunity in the medical machining and orthopedic implant industry. State of the art medical device manufacturing facility has several openings for highly skilled set up machinists. We are searching for all around machinists with experience on multi axis machining centers, lathes and EDM. Candidates with swiss cnc lathe experience are preferred. Past experience in the medical device or close tolerance machining of titanium or stainless steel is a must.

Our client has Makino, Matsuura, Rollomatic, Star, Citizen and Mori Seiki equipment. This position requires experience in set up, operation, cutting tool applications, machine troubleshooting, basic repairs and the use of inspection tools Experience editing or CNC programming is a plus.

MUST HAVE: a minimum of 5 years of CNC machining set up and operation in a close tolerance machining or medical machining environment. Experience machining stainless steel, titanium or exotic alloys. Knowledge of multi-axis machining centers, edm, multi axis cnc lathes with live tooling and/or swiss CNC lathe experience. Joint replacement, surgical instruments, bone screws or medical device experience is strongly preferred.
