The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing major industrial accounts within a defined geographical territory in Ontario, working towards a yearly sales forecast. The successful candidate will engage in consultative selling, working with a client’s management and engineering teams to formulate a creative solution to meet current and future demands. There is the possibility of advancement and potential for personal growth for worthy candidates within this thriving organization.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage industrial accounts
Formulate solid contract proposals, with engineering support, in order to earn new business
Interpret and develop sales opportunities to meet customer’s needs
Communicate solutions within the company
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player:
University / College graduate in engineering or marketing
Basic mechanical and / or electrical experience
Basic proposal writing and contractual skills
Solid computer skills
AutoCAD drafting (version 14) will be beneficial
Proven sales record
Aggressive self starter with strong closing skills
Has initiative, is creative
