Responsibilities: Ships product including preparing packing lists shipping labels and other documents outlined in scope of service. Manages the receipt unpacking de-trashing and checking of incoming materials and RMA (return merchandise authorization) processing. Fulfils orders from stored inventory according to customer order specifications. Ensures accuracy and disposition of inventory cycle counts. Within expected guidelines manages and executes cycle count or physical inventory including reconciliation of count discrepancies. Ensures compliance with Avnets logistics policies and procedures. Ensures Inplant Store is ESD (Electro Static Discharge) compliant including audits and documentation. Knowledge and Skill: Customer service skills Ability to trouble shoot and satisfactorily resolve problems to the customers satisfaction Verbal and written communication skills Organizational skills Detail oriented Ability to file using either an alpha or numeric filing system Knowledge of warehouse procedures to include multiple functions such as shipping receiving etc. Knowledge and ability to focus on quality control Problem solving techniques to improve internal processes Work experience requirements: Eighteen months of previous warehouse experience is required Education & Certification Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Distinguishing Characteristics Maintains up-to-date knowledge of systems processes and procedure changes.
