Cardiovascular Services Manager Unit: CV Services Manager Job Summary: The Manager of Cardiovascular Lab Services is responsible for planning, directing and administration of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Lab (Special Procedures), Electrophysiology, Pre/Post Holding Unit and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. The Manager will have the responsibility for the education, competencies, quality service for all nursing and technology functions within the cardiology service program. The Manager will be responsible for the staff performance and the accomplishment of department responsibilities and goals in accord with corporate, hospital, department, and safe policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements. Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to and acting as liaison with patients and their representatives, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management, and for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs. Furthermore, the manager will assist the administrator in QA and PI projects. Requirements:- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing / or Appropriate Tech training program / or RCIS, RVT, RCVT - Bachelor of Science Degree Preferred (attain within 3 years of employment) - Progressive hospital management minimum of one year management experience or 2 years Charge/Supervisory experience cardiac Cath lab. Prefer recent clinical experience in cardiac Cath lab, radiology, electrophysiology, and recovery unit.
