Our client in North Carolina is seeking an individual to supervise and coordinateactivities in the area of Electric Engineering. This individual will be responsible for performingadvanced specialized engineering work involving surveys, investigations, structures andequipment with moderate to complex features; designing/reviewing moderate to complexdrawings, plans, and specifications of proposed projects; determining work and materials asrequired; performing moderate to complex engineering studies; analyzing/interpreting data;troubleshooting problems and making recommendations; performing field work; and meetingwith customers/contractors concerning utility services. Candidate must have thoroughknowledge of principles and practices of electrical engineering; be able to evaluate and solvetechnical engineering problems; be able to schedule and prioritize work; prepare/maintainreports; and effectively coordinate multiple projects.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of a 4-year accredited university/college with a Bachelors Degree in ElectricalEngineering and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience performingelectrical engineering work for a utility, with the overseeing/reviewing the work of others.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess or be able to obtain a North Carolina Professional Engineer registration withinsix (6) months of employment in the position.
