Responsibilities: The incumbent independently performs engineering reviews of proposed efficiency projects in public agencies, provides engineering support for industrial training activities such as end use related workshops, performs energy assessments on large industrial customers (>500,000kwh/yr) under a DOE grant, and assists engineering staff in industries in developing projects to improve process energy efficiency. The work involves highly technical, sensitive and responsible analyses and interacts with industrial plant owners, management and engineering teams and Commission staff. .
