Requirements: .BS/MS a plus. It can be in biology, chemistry or anything related. Degree with just school lab is not ok. Experience at Pharma, biotech, or university lab (not lab for coursework) is ok. Description: We are currently recruiting for a contractor who will manage our teams automation needs. This individual will be responsible for maintaining our small molecule samples utilizing automation and custom software packages and preparing compound plates for biological assays. Additional responsibilities will include support of an automated tissue culture facility and quality control of the cells routinely grown in the group using standard gene expression techniques. The successful candidate will be a quick learner who can handle many duties concurrently with careful attention to detail. A multi-disciplinary knowledge of lab automation, software, liquid handling techniques and biology is desirable. The individual will be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. .
