The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, as well as an interest in learning the equity trading business. The system has a large amount of automation.Skills Required- Strong C skills- Strong Unix / Linux skills- Multi-threaded programming- Performance analysis- Strong debugging skills- Design Patterns- Need to be able to work in a team environment.- Be comfortable expressing your ideas in meetings, design sessions, etc.Skills DesiredThe following is helpful, but not required- Java / Swing experience- FIX protocol- Equity market making & trading.
