As a global leader in nourishing crops and delivering distinctive value to the world's agriculture, Mosaic offers an opportunity to share in an exciting future. We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer (Engineer Sr.) - Gyp Stack based out of our Bartow, FL location.  This position is responsible for the engineering design and construction management of major gypsum stack expansion and closure projects in Mosaic's concentrate operations.   This person will assist in all phosphogypsum related regulatory initiatives affecting the phosphate industry.  This role will provide technical support and engineering consultant on civil engineering projects in support of the Gypsum Stack Engineering Group. Principal Accountabilities: Plan and direct the detailed engineering phase and execute gypsum stack system closure and expansion projects on assigned gypsum stack system(s).  Maintain consistency in design standards, design optimization, and synergy opportunities among all projects.Maintain schedule and fiscal responsibility of all assigned projects.Ensure all assigned projects are in compliance with related Federal rules, Florida State Rules FAS 62-672 and 62-673, permits, and permit conditions.  Liaison with regulatory agencies and internal environmental department, and operations on related gyp stack projects.

Requirements : B.S. Degree is required.  A major in Civil Engineering is preferred.10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering design and/or construction management experience is preferred.Phosphate industry and regulatory compliance experience is preferred. MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD skills, and Project Management programs.  Experiences in surface/ground water hydrology programs are a plus.Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are desired.  Required Education, Experience, Skills: B.S. Degree is required.  A major in Civil Engineering is preferred.10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering design and/or construction management experience is preferred.Phosphate industry and regulatory compliance experience is preferred.
