Act as liaison with clients, advertising agencies, leagues, packagers and various internal departments throughout the review process. Responsible for the oversight of the logistics, coordination and processing of all commercial materials through the screening and review process. Ensure that all commercial spots are viewed, reviewed, accounted for and are in accordance with the company's advertising standards and guidelines before going to air. Evaluate, interpret and analyze all of the company's advertising standards and guidelines in order to apply and make judgments during the commercial screening processes. Keep current on on-going changes and additions to guidelines. Identify policy violations and make recommendations to clients on ways to fix the violation(s) in order to meet set standards. Act as screening liaison to Legal, Ad Sales, Programming, Corporate Giving and company's clients to ensure proper review and tracking of all commercial materials. Responsible to create, track, maintain and distribute commercial screening reporting needs to Commercial Operations department and management on a daily and weekly basis. Responsible to track and communicate program and time restrictions placed on commercial materials. Work closely and develop strong relationships with operational departments on matters relating to commercial screening and processing. Responsible to create, maintain and file all commercial screening and clearance documentation in accordance with document retention policies. Apply in-depth knowledge and understanding of NCS Media Inventory application, NCS Commercial Clearance application and other Commercial Operations functionality to the commercial screening, clearance and final log processes. Responsible to maintain, revise and distribute Commercial Operations Guidelines and Deadlines documents. Facilitate improvements to processes and systems related to commercial screening and other department functionality as it relates to commercial screening. Assist members of Media Team as needed. Perform all duties of Media Associate II and I when warranted and other duties as assigned by department management.
