Responsibilities : The Procurement Specialist will primarily be responsible for achieving purchased material goals based on Safety, Customer Service, Vendor Performance, and Procurement Optimization. Other Implement and maintain Vendor/Team reports and Team Key Performance indicatorsMaintain extensive and complex data ensuring completeness and accuracyEstablish and maintain excellent rapport with internal and external customersResolve problems related to vendor and procurement performance and propose long-term solutionsOwn/manage master data related to the teams assigned purchased materialsRegularly call suppliers for service, price, or delivery issues; Develop streamline communication methods with suppliersProvides assistance and/or direction to other members of the Procurement team as requiredDevelop and implement inbound optimization processes and proceduresThe minimum qualifications the candidate will have Bachelor's degree in a business related field Ability to identify trends from data and use that information to recommend/implement cost of efficiency savings opportunitiesStrong analytical skills Excellent knowledge of Excel and/or AccessSAP experience is a must We rely on the diversity of our workforce to drive our growth and success.
