Responsibilities : Senior Manager, Optimization and Analytics ( Audience Network - Santa Monica, CA) The Ad Serving Optimization group within the Audience Network (FAN) is responsible for serving and optimizing online advertisements on thousands of websites on the internet, including popular owned sites such as MySpace and IGN. The Senior Manager, Optimization and Analytics will monitor FAN ongoing ad network sales strategies, analyze and benchmark the statistical algorithms that underlie our proprietary ad serving and optimization system, write detailed implementation and test plans, and perform data-driven case studies. This role will also assist in related efforts to improve overall ad serving, including analysis of our ad serving and traffic patterns, technical project management, etc. This is a highly visible and key position which will report to the Executive Director, Optimization and Analytics. Responsibilies: Writing/maintaining complex queries across different data brokers (databases, data warehouse, etc.) to draw out actionable insights from the data Analyzing detailed web/transaction logs to gather additional insights on consumer behavior on our sites, and recommend specific actions to enhance ad optimization Testing and monitoring the impact of algorithm enhancements to the ad server.

Requirements : Bachelor degree required - in mathematics, statistics, engineering or similar field. Graduate degree would be a plus Strong technical background - demonstrated track record working closely with engineering teams 3 years of experience with SQL Working knowledge of scripting languages (Perl preferred). Experience with Java is also a plus Excellent analysis, problem solving, software, and communication skills Outstanding team player with the ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas Deep understanding of online advertising industry trends and business models Proactive and entrepreneurial, comfortable taking ownership of assignments Interested?
