Responsibilities and Requirements : TechniciansNote:Please read the complete description below before applying for this job.Complete DescriptionDirects and performs laboratory tests necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases to include chemical, microscopic, bacteriological, immunological, hematological, and coagulation testing. Assist the physician or pathologist in diagnosis and patient care in a hospital environment. Operates equipment to make qualitative and quantitative analyses of specimens. Oversees lab operations and supervises MLTs and other lab personnel. HS grad/equiv req. Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field req. Certification as a Medical Technologist by a nationally recognized agency/board is required. 2 yrs MT exp in a clinical setting pref.Additional InformationWeekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
