Specific responsibilities are detailed below. Job Duties Daily/Regular: Initiate, maintain and develop working relationships with local area employers to understand the nature of their businesses, types of jobs available, and all processes and procedures required to obtain employment at their places of business. Initiate, maintain and develop working relationships with local area non-profits to arrange for work experience placements for participants enrolled in CCDSS contracted employment programs and maintain work experience data and update contracts. Maintain contact with CCDSS contracted employment programs, informing them of available jobs and job training and work experience opportunities. Act as a liaison between CCDSS contracted employment programs, program participants and area employers in the interviewing and hiring process. Arrange for various employment activities such as job fairs, interviews, toxicology screening and health assessments as needed. Foster the availability of the necessary support services to eliminate barriers to employment. Facilitate employment readiness skill training with program participants. Periodic: Complete and maintain accurate documentation for each program participant served. Participate in all Team and Family Development Division meetings. Provide follow-up support with program participants to foster a sustained positive self-sufficiency direction. Participate in the development of innovative strategies to strengthen education and employment opportunities for program participants. Prepare monthly reports accounting for activities, program outputs and outcomes including statistical data for EOP and CCDSS. Participate in developing the annual outcome evaluation report based on performance measures and benchmarks. Work with other EOP programs in employment related activities. Ongoing: Participate in appropriate training and education for professional growth. Maintain a working knowledge of community resources. Participate in appropriate committees, task forces, etc. as approved by supervisor. Participate in carrying out Agency mission and goals. .
