Senior IT Helpdesk Support - (US-MA-Watertown - 02477) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities and Requirements : Provide day-to-day user support including desktops/laptops, servers, phones, printers, and system securityMaintain help desk queueIncludes the setup and configuration of wireless devices such as BlackberryAssists users with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.) related questions which can range from basic to advanced questions.Ensures helpdesk documentation and knowledge bases are up to date and correct.Maintains hardware and software inventoryAssess end user needs and recommend system or software tools that can be used to fulfill these needsProvide on-going system related training for new and current employeesCoordinates installation of new hardware/software and monitors the operation of computer hardware and softwareEvaluates and resolves user problems.Responsible for helping maintain local IP phone systemsProvide leading example for HelpdeskProvide training and help to junior level Helpdesk personalMay perform other duties as required.Specific .AbilitiesStrong experience in Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, MS Office and Outlook/ExchangeMust be able to work a flexible schedule as requiredMust be able to travel to the Hopkinton office on occasionSystems administration and integration of servers, switches, routers, and desktopsExperience with administering of mobile and IP phones.Be willing to participate on 24/7 on-call rotationMust be willing to sometimes be flexible in work hours to get projects or maintenance doneAbility to coach and train a workforce with various degrees of technical capabilities.Good listening, communication and interpersonal skills.Good problem solving and decision making ability.Scripting experience a plusEducation/ExperienceThe position requires an associate's degree in a related area and 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
