Responsibilities: Works collaboratively with all disciplines in providing effective leadership to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate home heath and hospice services, overseeing the financial integrity of each program, using Lean Methodology and current evidence based practice to improve services for the community. Understands and applies interrelationships among access, quality, cost, resource allocation, and accountability. Graduate of an accredited RN program. Current licensure in the State of Iowa as a Registered Nurse. Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing. Continuing education as required to maintain licensure. Minimum of 4 years of responsible health care management or service, preferably in the field of home health care. p rior management or supervisory experience highly preferred. Maintenance of BCLS verification. Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse training. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Interpersonal skills sufficient for effective patient, family, and staff interaction. Knowledge and acceptance of the Home Health philosophy of care. .
