This is a 3 months contract opportunity at our customer site, a leading company in Plano, TX .

Job Description:

1) We are seeking analysts who are experts in reading and interpreting legal documents.
2) We do not require former VP's or people managing organizations. These will be individual contributors who need to read & interpret contracts, extract specific data from contracts, assemble contracts & all associated documents, and determine whether the contracts are active or inactive.

Responsible for the procurement, development and implementation of materials processes to meet production goals, cost, flexibility, and predictability objectives in a high-volume, complex environment. Manages the cost-effective expenditures of company assets, and assures availability of materials as required. Responsible for overseeing activities related to the procurement of materials, parts, components and equipment. Manages supplier development, sourcing, and relationships, and manages the contracts administration for this function.


Expert: Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a business matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers.

Typically requires a BS/BA degree in commodity/purchasing management or equivalent experience and 5+ years total related experience or a Master’s degree and at least 4+ total years of related experience.Thorough knowledge of the procurement/commodity area. Project management experience needed.
