Experience working with infants and young children with developmental disorders and/or autism spectrum disorder preferred. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database applications Excellent organizational ability and interpersonal skills. Must have strong leadership skills and be able to negotiate team consensus. Working knowledge of the research process Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and pay attention to detail is essential for success Frequently requires sitting, standing or walking for long periods. Occasionally requires bending, crouching or knelling. Requires use of hands, keyboarding, fine motor skills, occasionally lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally moving objects up to 100 pounds.Job Description:Working with the Principal investigator and a research team at the Center for Autism Research (CAR), this position will support the screening and assessment of infants and young children taking part in a longitudinal study of brain and cognitive development. Daily tasks will include, recruitment and screening of potential of subjects, operation of experimental paradigms, assisting with behavioral assessments and data entry and checking. Additional requirements include attending evening MRI scans on a one to two night per week basis.
