Responsibilities and Requirements : The Business Alliance Manager will be involved in developing relationships with key partners to further the market acceptance of products. The Alliance Manager will act as the driver at the corporate level of software and hardware partners and facilitate the relationship and involvement of the Field Marketing and Sales team at a regional level when appropriate. The Alliance Manager is responsible for corporate development and support of targets and for the regional support of all partner activities. They will act as primary driver for the working with Marketing and Sales to define and coordinate sales and marketing activities. Activities include the development of marketing, product and technology initiatives, partner management and training, event and promotion development and execution. This position will also require a strong ability to leverage other groups within , its field and the partner as well, to get this work done.Required SkillsEvidence of personal and professional energy and excellence. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to create strong cross-functional collaborative working relationships with geographically disperse partners. Strong business judgment with the ability to define the broader business or customer implications of specific decisions. Strong oral and written communications skills, including the ability to influence at the executive level. Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Technical aptitude, including the ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts and their product implications. 5 yrs experience in Sales, Business Development or Alliance Mgmt experience required.
