RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies engineering expertise to assist Government engineers/program managers in the day-to-day and long term engineering investigation, planning, design, analysis, risk management, integration, test planning, test execution, and life cycle support of major weapon systems acquisitions. Assists the program manager, participates in system design reviews, identifies technical issues, provides engineering analysis and expertise to formulate work-arounds and risk mitigation plans for systems under defelopment. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and otehr technical documentaiton.

REQUIREMENTS:
BS, MS or PhD in engineering, computer engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college/university, plus five years experience in elements of DoD Acquisition in one or more of the following areas: Air Vehicle, Cryptographic Systems, Systems Engineering, Aircraft Integration, Testing, Design, Program Acquisition, Hardware/sofware Design.
