Lead molding equipment upgrades on existing equipment and development and installation of new lines. Work with representatives from operations, maintenance and quality engineering to justify, specify, procure, install, and validate new injection molding equipment or improvements to existing equipment from inception through validation to ensure that all performance specifications are met.

Must have 5+ years experience managing capital equipment projects from concept through implementation including developing technical specifications and bid documents for the procurement of packaging equipment.

Shall issue capital appropriations requests and manage project budgets and schedules.

Requires ability to:

*** Provide technical knowledge of rubber and elastomeric materials and support operations with molded material concerns.

*** Develop design and assembly drawings using software.

*** Provide technical support of and perform hands-on troubleshooting and process improvements to molding equipment in manufacturing operations.

*** Use root cause analysis to eliminate process problems.
