Psychologist duties under this contract shall include, but are not limited to:

1.Apply psychological knowledge and techniques to the problems of mental disorders of adult offenders in a correctional facility or clinic.
2.Conduct group and individual psychodrama, family therapy, confrontive therapy, sensitivity training, behavior therapy, conditioning, and other forms of behavior modification.
3.Select, administer, score, and interpret personality, intelligence, and other psychological test.
4.Asses patients needs and make recommendations on admission, transfer, parole, discharges and therapeutic activities based on psychological tests and observations, case histories, treatment progress, and social factors.
5.Provide crisis intervention with agitated, suicidal, and/or aggressive youthful offenders.
6.Consult with medical personnel regarding the findings of medical examinations and evidence of organic disturbances related to behavior, and with nursing, social work, rehabilitation, and other staff regarding precipitating events, complications, and potential for adjustment.
7.Initiates and develops new programs for the treatment, training, or rehabilitation of youthful offenders or inmates.
8.Evaluates and reports on current and new programs.
9.Participates in treatment team, staff and professional meetings.
10.Upon request, acts as a consultant within the facility or area or to other agencies or groups.
11.Completes psychological evaluations including Board of Prison Terms (BPT) and Mentally Disordered Offenders (MDO), PC 3002 and PC 1203.3 evaluations.
12.Provides informal and formal training to CDC staff, including clinical and custody personnel, as needed.
13.Participate in program audits for service delivery compliance.
