Responsibilities: Under supervision of an Audit Supervisor, the incumbent is the lead auditor and is responsible for independently and proficiently handling the conduct of the most complex, visible, and/or sensitive audit assignments. The position requires the incumbent to work in a lead capacity over the other auditors and provide guidance for the most complex and sensitive audits of local government agencies' indirect cost allocation plans and agreements between local government agencies and the Department. Incumbent must be willing to travel. Position exists in Sacramento. Multiple Limited Term (LT) vacancies anticipated. LT positions may become permanent. Positions are subject to Caltrans Internal Hiring Freeze requirements. Preferenc will be given to hires from within Caltrans and/or persons with State Restriction of Appointment (SROA) or Surplus status. .
