Position Summary: Sell cable or on-line services to new or existing subscribers within assigned territory.
Major Duties: (May perform any or all of the following duties) Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment or referral solicitation in assigned territory. Prepare and execute subscriber sales application, arranging for installation date, collecting and remitting revenues. Upgrade and improves sales presentation, knowledge of products, services and rates and attend sales meetings as required. Systematically review assigned territory to insure all dwelling units are contacted on a prescribed periodic basis. Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities. Acquire new or upgrade subscribers by direct contact. Perform other related duties as assigned. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills: Preferred Qualifications: Ability to act independently, self motivated, professional appearance. Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays. Ability to work under pressure. Previous sales experience. Valid Driver's license and good driving record. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a sales environment or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education. Working Conditions: Ability to maintain punctual, regular and consistent attendance Work around newly constructed homes. Ability to climb stairs in apartment dwellings. Travel in inclement weather.
