We have approximately 1,000 employees and more than 600 physicians on its medical staff.We are seeking an experienced Director of Cardiology Services. Must be Licensed Registered Nurse in state of Kansas, BSN preferred, a minimum of two years Cardiology experience and a minimum of two years experience in supervisory position is also preferred.BLS and ACLS required.Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Cardiology Services is responsible for the clinical and financial performance of the Cardiology Department, Cath Lab and Cardiac Rehab departments. Duties include oversight of safe clinical practices, the development of policies and procedures, assuring optimum service for patients in clinical area, liaison to medical staff in regard to patient care issues. The Director is responsible for staff recruitment, development and personnel issues. Director will create the budget for department and perform within budgetary guidelines.
